We are looking for an excellent academic in the field of English Literature and Cultural Studies, with particular interest in Gender and Queer Studies. We expect a focus on Drama and Theatre, as well as on Performative Arts in Shakespeare’s time.

Professorship in Anglophone Literatures and Cultures (W3) (f/m/d)
Prospective candidates will have research interests covering at least two periods in English literature and cultural history from 1800 onwards. There should be a specialized focus within postcolonial or transcultural studies in one or more of the following areas: Australian Studies, Canadian Studies, Caribbean Studies.
