More information and application details: https://www.uni-potsdam.de/en/irtg-cultures-of-repair

The International Research Training Group (IRTG) Cultures of Repair, jointly convened by the University of Potsdam and the University of Melbourne, is seeking two postdoctoral researchers to join our team.

The programme explores repair as a critical, creative, and future-oriented practice that sustains social, cultural, and ecological life. Its work is organised across three interconnected areas:

  • Environments of Repair
  • Reparative Readings
  • Repairing Relations

The positions are 65% appointments at the University of Potsdam and combine independent postdoctoral research with active participation in the development and delivery of the IRTG.

At least one-third of working time is dedicated to individual postdoctoral research and, where applicable, preparation for a Habilitation. The remaining time is devoted to contributing to the IRTG, including the co-development of the research programme, collaborative publications, teaching, and programme coordination.

We welcome applicants with expertise in fields including literary studies, postcolonial studies, cultural studies, gender and queer studies, media studies, history, and related disciplines.
