The international workshop “Digitising Heritage” at Heidelberg University is organized by Stefanie Affeldt and Carsten Wergin and brings together interdisciplinary studies concerned with the manifestation and distribution of heritage in digital form.
From 29 September to 1 October 2019, a number of internationally renowned scholars are discussing the contestations surrounding the production of heritage as a concept and practice, with particular emphasis on questions of representation in museums, academic institutions, politics and history. Please refer to the flyer and the programme for more information on speakers, papers, and venue.
